Financial Aid

Better Batter’s gluten free products are the product of a family just like yours. Founder Naomi Poe found the gluten free diet to be enormously helpful in her son Zion’s developmental delays. Better Batter Gluten Free Flour was created as a safe and convenient way of providing food that her sons could eat. Better Batter products are not only gluten and allergen free, but they also taste great. Even your non-gluten
free friends and family won’t notice the difference!

We believe everyone should have the ability to eat healthy, enjoyable food. And gluten free foods are not always cheap. That’s why, as a part of your community, Better Batter is committed to offering special pricing to families with limited income, families with children with autism, college students and other households with extraordinary circumstances.

With Better Batter products, you can live without and not be missing out.

Autism Pricing Program

Families applying for our autism pricing program must provide proof of the child’s diagnosis and ongoing care. Pricing automatically renews up until the child is 18 years of age, renewable yearly thereafter for caregivers. Orders made by families in this program must be made by phone.

Limited Income Pricing Program

To qualify for our limited income pricing program, families must meet federal guidelines for Food Aid (WIC, Food Stamps, etc.). Pricing renews each January. Orders made by families in this program must be made by phone.

Do NOT send original copies of any eligibility documents. Copies of tax info, proof of food stamps, WIC checks, etc. are accepted.

College Student Program

To qualify for our college student pricing program, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a college or university. When applying, please attach proof of current enrollment.

Extraordinary Circumstances

We understand that many families find themselves temporarily under dire circumstances, but without the official requirements that may qualify them for many financial aid programs. If you are struggling with extraordinary medical or other expenses, please explain your circumstances in an attachment to your application, along with any related proof, if possible. We do not guarantee that we will accept your application. We do guarantee that we will consider it.

Unsure if you may have extraordinary circumstances?

Examples:

General Need for a Gluten Free Diet:  “I/a loved one has celiac” would not be considered extraordinary.

Extraordinary Costs:   “I have $10,000 in out of pocket chemotherapy bills, plus travel expense back and forth to my treatments is not covered by insurance” would be considered extraordinary.

I absolutely love your products! My son and I both have gluten intolerance so it is very nice to have great tasting options available. I have a friend with an autistic son, I am definitely recommending your products! It’s incredible that you offer discounted products for autistic children. Thank you!
