Easy GF and DF Biscuits and Gravy

 Easy Gluten & Dairy Free Biscuits & Gravy

Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 45 minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 16 oz package of ground breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup original or artisan flour
  • 1 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Batch of Gluten Free Biscuits

Instructions

    Start by making your biscuits and putting them in the oven. While the biscuits are cooking, make the gravy.
    In a large skillet (my favorite is cast iron) brown the sausage.
      Sprinkle the flour all over the sausage and toss with a spatula to coat the sausage well.
        Pour the milk, 1 cup at a time and stir well.
          Continue to stir while the gravy thickens. It only takes about 3-4 minutes. Watch it because you don’t want your gravy to dry out.
            Turn off the heat and sprinkle in the salt, pepper and granulated garlic.
              Spoon on top of your biscuits and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Serve hot. Enjoy!
