With millions of travelers expected to hit the roadways and airways this summer, those of us with food allergies have to plan just a bit more carefully.  Where will we eat? Are there gluten-friendly restaurants near our hotel? Or will we be stuck in the kitchen for the entirety of our vacation?  I don’t know about you, but not cooking is one of the highlights of my annual vacation!  So when I came across this Huffington Post article, I was thrilled. If you’re heading out on vacation soon, taking some time to plan when and what you’ll eat can make a world of difference. Not to mention, you’ll cut your stress levels too.

Check out GrubHub, where you can search your gluten-free options by location prior to traveling.

And you can search Better Batter’s recipe archive for yummy baked goods to take along for snacking. If you find yourself in a pinch while traveling, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, popcorn, and even gluten-free cereal can be a quick fix.

Above all, have fun this summer and make memories to last a lifetime!
