Texas Sized Chocolate Muffins

chocolatemuffin-1.jpgThese ridiculously moist and flavourful muffins are absolutely the
best muffins in the world and abnormally easy to make, if you keep Boxed Cake Mix
on hand. Chocolate chunks are surrounded by muffin so intense, it’s really more of a cake. Feel free to make smaller muffins, but
adjust the cooking time accordingly.

4 cups Boxed Cake Mix

3/4 c cocoa powder

3 eggs, beaten

2/3 c milk

1/3 c oil

1 tsp baking powder

8 oz chocolate chunks

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients, except the chocolate chunks, together. Stir in the chips and spoon into lined, texas-sized muffin cups.

Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes or until the tops are firm. Let cool completely!

Can this recipe be made with the Better Batter Gluten Free Flour rather than the Cake mix? What alterations need to be made? Thanks so much for these great recipes.

No, Nell, this recipe must be made with the cake mix recipe as a base – this is available on the site as well.
