beefsamosa.jpg
A variation on the popular Indian samosas, this combines beef or lamb with traditional Indian spices to fill a delicate, fried pastry. Curry powder or preground spice mixes can be used in simiar quantities in place of the individual spices, but the taste will not be the same.

These vegan appetizers got their start in Indian cooking, but have quickly become popular snack foods everywhere in the world.     The cooking pastries fill the air with the scent of warm spices - this is comfort food at its best! Potato and peas, gently spiced, fill a delicate pastry, which is then fried. Samosas a surprisingly filling.

naan.JPG Naan is a sweet, buttery flatbread that is perfect for sopping up all the well-spiced juices from Indian curries and dishes. We also like to take naan and use it for sandwich wraps.
